In 2019, as the COVID-19 pandemic began, Graceway started Unite in Crisis. It was our mission to meet the urgent needs in the greater Kansas City area. Every Sunday, we offered curbside grocery pickup for those in our area struggling to provide food for their families. As our communities begin to reopen, our society is better positioned to provide for their families. As a result, Sunday, July 18th, was the last day of Unite in Crisis.

Despite improving economic conditions and the reopening of our communities, some are still struggling to provide food for their families. If you are struggling to provide food for your family; or know someone who is, we encourage you to contact REAP (Raytown Emergency Assistance Program). REAP provides groceries for 150 families every week on Fridays between 10:30 am – 11:30 am.

It has been our honor to help care for the families struggling in Kansas City, and we are continuing to look for new ways to care for the needs of those in our community.
